Administrative & Clerical: Front Desk Associate

About the Role
Our small, patient-focused dental practice is seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Associate to be the first point of contact for our patients. This role supports our clinical team by managing the schedule, handling patient communication, and ensuring a smooth, welcoming experience at every visit.
Key Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly, check them in/out, and answer basic questions
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments by phone, text, and email
Verify insurance information and update patient records in the practice management system
Collect co-pays and balances; provide receipts and basic billing information
Answer and route phone calls; respond to voicemails and messages
Maintain a clean, professional front desk and waiting area
Coordinate with dental assistants and dentists to keep the daily schedule running smoothly
Protect patient privacy and follow all office policies and procedures
Qualifications
Previous dental front desk, receptionist, or customer service experience preferred (dental/medical a plus)
Strong communication skills and a welcoming, professional demeanor
Comfortable using computers and practice management or scheduling software
Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks at once
High school diploma or equivalent required
Schedule & Compensation
4 Day Schedule:
- Monday & Tuesday 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Thursday & Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm
- Closed on WednesdaysCompensation: (Hourly pay range $18-$22/hr) based on experience and DANB certification

Clinical Support: Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA)

About the Role
Our small, team-oriented dental practice is seeking an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant to support our dentists with high-quality clinical care and a great patient experience. You’ll use your expanded skills chairside while keeping the back office organized and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the dentist chairside during restorative, preventive, and emergency procedures
Perform expanded duties as allowed by state regulations (e.g., placing sealants, polishing, taking impressions, taking x-rays, placing temporary restorations, etc.)
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to infection control protocols
Take digital radiographs and intraoral photos as directed
Review treatment plans with patients and help them feel informed and comfortable
Maintain accurate, neat clinical notes and update patient records in the practice software
Monitor and restock clinical supplies; help maintain equipment
Collaborate closely with dentists, front desk, and other assistants to keep the schedule running smoothly
Qualifications
Current Dental Assistant certification DANB/Expanded Functions certification
2years Experience as a chairside dental assistant preferred
Proficiency with digital X-rays and basic dental software
Strong communication skills and a calm, patient-focused demeanor
Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work well in a small team
CPR certification preferred
Schedule & Compensation
